(ECNS) -- Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed his wish to establish cooperative ties with Tsinghua University during a visit to the college on Tuesday, according to tsinghua.edu.cn.

Zuckerberg talked about Facebook's current situation and shared his views on talent development during a meeting with the university's president Chen Jining. He said universities should help students foster management abilities and leadership skills, laying emphasis on knowledge structures.

President Chen also showed his willingness to cooperate with Facebook, especially in developing talent.

On Monday, Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management announced the appointment of Zuckerberg, along with IBM Chief Executive Virginia Rometty and Anheuser-Busch InBev CEO Carlos Brito, to its advisory board.

Zuckerberg founded Facebook in 2004, which proved to be a huge success. It has developed into one of the world's top companies over the last 10 years, placing its founder into the billionaires club with a personal wealth of over $30 billion.
